Momin Traders

Momin Traders is tucked away in Lotus Colony in Govandi. We have been at this 925/14 spot for a good while. The neighborhood is always lively, and there is always some noise from the street, but we like it that way. We do a lot of general trading here. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. Boxes are often stacked up to the ceiling when a new shipment comes in. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or neighbors who drop by to see what we have in stock. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things move from one place to another. Govandi is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we spend a lot of time just chatting with people who pass by. It is more than just a business; it is where we spend all our time. We keep the doors open through the heat and the rain. Sometimes the rain gets quite heavy around here and we have to move the stock away from the entrance. We try to be helpful to anyone who comes in. There is no big secret to how we work. We just show up, do the counting, handle the sales, and go home when the work is finished. It is a straightforward way to make a living.
