Modern Estate Agency

I run Modern Estate Agency from our small office at 71/1 on the ground floor. We are in the Satellite building on Charni Road. It’s pretty easy to spot because we are right opposite the Mercedes showroom. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just step inside if they have a question about property. Charni Road is a fast-paced area, and there’s always something happening outside our window. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for a few desks and some files. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of the day involves looking at listings and talking to folks about where they want to live. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well. I like the location because it’s central. You get all kinds of people walking by. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic from the main road, but that’s Mumbai for you. We don’t have any flashy signs, just the name on the door. It’s a straightforward business. I usually get in early to clear the desk before the phones start ringing. It feels like a local hub where people just drop in to chat about the neighborhood. We know the streets around here pretty well by now. The tea stall nearby is where I spend most of my breaks.
