Mineral Processor

Mineral Processor is over at 699/1 on Dinshaw Master Road in Dadar. If you know Mumbai, you know Dadar is one of those places that never really stops moving. Our location is in an older part of the area, and the building has a lot of character, though it’s seen better days and could use some paint. We do exactly what the name says; we process minerals for different uses. It’s a dusty business, and the machines we use are quite old but they still do the job well enough. Being on Dinshaw Master Road means we’re right in the thick of it. There are small shops and tea stalls all around us. The street is narrow, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes with all the traffic and people walking. Inside, the space is packed with bags of material and equipment. We’ve been operating here for a long time, and the staff knows the routine inside out. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze, but we make it work. Most days are spent monitoring the grinders and making sure the minerals are processed correctly. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any air conditioning. You just walk in off the street into the workspace. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living, and we’re just one of many small businesses that keep Dadar going. We close up in the evenings when the street gets even busier and the lights come on.
