Milind Rikame

I work out of Anup House on Mahakali Road, which is right near the Paper Box landmark. If you know the area, you know it’s a hub of activity. My space isn't very large, but it’s where everything happens. Being Milind Rikame, I just use my own name for the business because that’s the simplest way to do it. The building is an older one, and you can feel the history in the walls. Most days, I’m here from early morning, dealing with whatever tasks are on the schedule. It might be paperwork, or it might be meeting someone who stopped by because they were in the neighborhood. Mahakali Road always has a lot of traffic, and the sound of horns is just part of the background music here. I keep a desk that’s usually a bit messy with notes and pens, but I know where everything is. Near Paper Box is a good place to be because everyone knows where that is, so I don't have to give long directions. I don't have a team of secretaries or a fancy lobby. It’s just me and the work. Sometimes I’ll step out to the local stall for a snack or a quick break. It’s a very standard, everyday kind of life. I’ve been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors in the building are all familiar faces. We help each other out when needed. It’s just a normal workplace where things get done.
