Milap Saree Fashion

Our shop is on Bhandarkar Road in Matunga. It’s in the K. N. Building, room 360. Matunga is a busy place, especially with the Central Railway station so close. We deal with sarees and fashion items. It’s a bit of an old building, but it has character. The stairs are narrow, so we have to be careful when moving stock. Most of the day is spent showing different fabrics to people or checking the new arrivals. Bhandarkar Road is always humming with noise. You hear the trains and the cars all day long. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families who have lived in Matunga for generations. It feels like a real community. We aren't a big corporation. Just a local spot where we know the postman and the tea stall guy. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days it's a rush to get things packed. We keep a lot of sarees in the back. It gets a bit dusty but we try to keep it clean. It’s a simple setup. If you’re walking down from the station, we’re just a short walk away. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. Just sarees and daily work. We usually close up when it starts to get dark outside and the street lights come on.
