Milan Power Tools is situated in the Ladar Gomes Compound in Andheri East. It’s on the 2nd Main in Heggana Halli, near the Vishwaneedam Post. If you know where the Rahat Hotel is, we are just a short walk from there. The area is always buzzing with people and vehicles. Our shop is packed with all sorts of drills, saws, and grinders. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stuff on hand for when people need it. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and putting things away. It’s dusty work. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a bit while we’re working. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for a specific wrench, we can usually find it under a pile of other things. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we manage. We’ve been at this location for years, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but we’re used to the noise by now. We close up around seven most nights, unless we have a late delivery to sort out. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep things moving. It is just how things are around here.
