Down at 90 Feet Road in Kalakilla, you can find our place. It’s near the New Panshami Hotel, which is a good landmark because the streets around here can get a bit confusing for someone who isn’t local. We are right in the Fort area. Md Shahzaday is the name on the door, and we’ve been working from this spot for a good while. It gets really loud outside with all the trucks and bikes passing by, but we’re used to it. Inside, things are a bit more focused. The space is filled with whatever projects we are currently working on. It’s not a place where we worry about how things look. We just care about getting the jobs finished. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, or the rain makes it hard to get deliveries in, but we manage. We aren’t looking to be the biggest business in Mumbai. We just want to do our thing and go home at the end of the day. The New Panshami Hotel is usually where we tell people to meet us if they get lost. There’s always a lot of activity on the road, so there’s never a dull moment. We keep things straightforward. No complicated talk or big promises, just real work from real people who know this neighborhood like the back of our hands. We have been here a long time and plan on staying right where we are.
