Matrix Architectural Solution

Matrix Architectural Solution is situated in Andheri, specifically in Kunadan Nagar 410 -411. Being in Andheri means we are right in the middle of everything, which is great but also very loud. Our office is on a higher floor, so we get a bit of a view of the rooftops around us. It’s a functional space. We have long tables where we spread out the big blueprints and a small corner for the computers. The carpet has some stains from coffee spills over the years, and the whiteboards are covered in scribbles that only we can understand. We don’t have a receptionist to greet people; you just walk in and find someone working. It’s a very hands-on environment. We have heaps of material samples—everything from granite slabs to bits of carpet—stashed under the desks. The printer is probably the loudest thing in the room, and it’s always running. We spend a lot of time on site, so the office is often half-empty during the day. When we are all here, it’s a lot of talking and sketching and trying to figure out how to solve a particular design problem. We aren’t interested in looking like a big corporation. We just want to get the job done and make sure the plans are accurate. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but that’s just how we work. We just show up and keep drawing.
