Being located at 3, Modi Chambers near the Opera House means we are right in the thick of things. Kennedy Bridge is just right there, so the traffic is something we deal with every single morning and evening. Marvin & Co. Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for a while, and the office feels like a second home to most of us. It’s a bit cramped in Modi Chambers, especially when we have a lot of deliveries coming in at once, but we make it work. The walls are covered in calendars and old notes we’ve tacked up over the months. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It’s a practical space. We’ve got a couple of computers that are a bit slow, and the overhead lights flicker sometimes, but we don't let it bother us. Most days are spent just keeping up with the schedule and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If it’s raining, the walk from the bridge can be a bit of a mess, but once you’re inside, it’s dry and quiet enough to get things done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just show up at Modi Chambers, sit at our desks, and do the work until it’s time to go home and brave the Kennedy Bridge traffic again.
