Marvelous Restaurants Llp is based on the first floor of the American Express Bakery House. That's on 66A Clare Road in Byculla. It is a really old building with a lot of character, and we like being there. Running a restaurant business in an area like Byculla is interesting because there is so much history around us. We aren't some polished group from a glass office tower. We are right here in the middle of the bustle. Our days are spent dealing with vendors, checking the kitchen, and making sure the staff is doing okay. It’s a lot of running up and down the stairs. Sometimes the plumbing in these old buildings gives us trouble, but we make do. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just want to serve food that tastes good. People come to us because they know what to expect. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep our customers fed and happy. The Mumbai weather can be tough on the building, but the American Express Bakery House is sturdy. We’ve put a lot of work into this place. It’s a bit rough around the edges sometimes, but that’s just part of the charm. We are just a local team doing what we know how to do.
