If you're looking for us, we’re in Building Number 3 at Gold Coin Apartments. It’s in Santacruz East, right on Lalbawa Mandir Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know where S V C Tower is. Maruti Estate Agent isn't one of those big fancy real estate firms with a fleet of cars and guys in ties. It’s mostly just us sitting at a couple of old desks with a lot of keys and a lot of folders. We spend our days talking to landlords and looking at flats that often need a lot of work. The market in Santacruz is always changing, and we just try to keep up with who is moving where. Our office is a bit small, and the walls are covered with maps and handwritten notes about different properties available. We don’t have a website that looks like a movie; we just have our phone numbers and a lot of local knowledge. People come in to ask about rents or to complain about their neighbors. We listen to it all. Sometimes we’re out all day showing people around different buildings, and the office is just locked up for a few hours. It’s not a 9-to-5 kind of job. We’re often working late or on weekends because that’s when people have time to look at houses. It’s a bit chaotic, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We've been here for years and know most people on the street.
