Rawal Estate Agent is based in Shop Number 20 at Kashinath Patil Ch in Malad West. Being right on L T Marg and opposite the Marve Road junction means the area is always buzzing with traffic and people. It is a small shop, not one of those fancy glass offices you see in the city. We have been sitting here for a good while now, mostly helping people find rental flats or small shops in the neighborhood. Usually, there is someone at the desk from morning until the evening. The noise from the junction is constant, but we have gotten used to it. Most folks just stop by to ask about property prices or if anything new has come up on the market. We do not have any big marketing flyers or anything like that. It is mostly just local people talking to us and us keeping track of what is available. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner stops by with a few cups while we are discussing paperwork with a neighbor. We know the Malad West buildings pretty well because we spend so much time walking to various sites. It is simple work, really. We just try to help people figure out their budgets and show them what is actually on the ground. We have a lot of old registers filled with notes. It is a practical business run by people who live nearby and know the streets well.
