Our office is in the Shantilaya building, right on 1st Tank Road in Malad West. We’re near Orlem Church, which is a landmark everyone around here knows. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot on 14th Cross, 2nd Stage, but we like the peace it gives us compared to the main road. Being estate consultants in Malad means we’re always busy. There is always someone looking for a flat or trying to rent out a shop. We handle the paperwork and the talking. We aren't a big corporation with fancy suits and polished offices. Most days we are just in regular clothes, drinking tea and looking over old floor plans. The office has a few chairs for visitors and a lot of maps and papers on the wall. We know this neighborhood inside out because we’ve lived and worked here for a very long time. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit difficult with the puddles, but we still show up every morning. People come to us because we don't give them a scripted sales pitch. We just tell them what the market looks like right now. It’s a lot of back and forth between owners and buyers. We just try to make the process a little less stressful for everyone involved. It’s a simple living and we are happy with how things are.
