Makhija Associates

Our office is located at Darshan Chawl in Shastri Nagar, right in the Kanjur Marg area of Mumbai. It’s a busy spot, but that’s just how Mumbai is. We’ve been operating out of this space for some time, handling whatever comes through the door. Being in a chawl means everyone knows everyone, and it feels more like a community than a corporate business park. People come to us when they have paperwork to sort out or need some advice on local matters. We deal with various bits of documentation and general consultancy work. It’s mostly just sitting down with people and going through files. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when there’s a lot going on, but we manage. We’re not fancy people. We have our desks, our files, and we just get the work done. If you know the area, finding us isn't hard. We are at number 1/19. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Most days involve a lot of reading and checking details to make sure everything is in order. It’s the kind of job that requires a bit of focus, but we always have time for a quick word with the neighbors. We’ve stayed here because it’s where we belong, right in the heart of the neighborhood. It's a steady life, keeping things organized for the folks who live around here, and we plan to stay.
