Our office is located over in Bhandup West, specifically at the Mayuresh Srishti Complex, unit 87. It’s a busy area and there’s always something going on downstairs. We spend most of our time dealing with properties, trying to figure out which shop goes where and who is moving into which flat. It’s not as glamorous as people think. There is a lot of sitting at the computer and making phone calls that don't always go through. We’ve got stacks of files on the desks and the printer is usually making some kind of loud clicking noise. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all just sit around waiting for pages to load so we can finish our work. We know the Bhandup area like the back of our hand because we’ve walked these streets so many times looking at different buildings. Clients come in and out, usually complaining about the traffic or the heat, and we offer them water while we look through the listings. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from filing papers to showing people around the complex. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are in the office at once. We like being part of the local scene though. There’s a good tea stall nearby that keeps us going through the long afternoons when the paperwork never seems to end.
