Up on the 7th floor of Marathon Icon, we have our workspace at unit 705. It’s right there on Ganpatrao Kadam Marg, just across from Peninsula Corporate Park. Lower Parel is a busy hub, and being up on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the street, though the trains still rumble nearby. We have a view of the other buildings, which all look pretty much the same after a while. The office itself is full of folders and maps of the local plots. We aren't the type to have a fancy coffee machine; we usually just get someone to bring up tea from the vendor downstairs. Working at Mak Kotwal Realty Llp means dealing with a lot of different people, from office workers to families looking for a spot nearby. We try to keep our desks organized, but by Tuesday, it’s usually a mess of papers again. It’s a practical place to work. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls because we spend most of our time looking at screens or talking on the phone. It’s a solid climb if the elevators are acting up, but that doesn't happen too often luckily. We like being in the middle of everything in Mumbai. It’s a good spot for us to keep an eye on what’s happening.
