We’ve been working out of our office in Kandivali West for quite a long time now. Our space is over at Divya Darshan, specifically in A/202. If you know the Nehru Park area, we are right there. It’s very close to Bhurabhai Hall, which most people around here use as a landmark. The street gets pretty busy during the day with people coming and going. We mostly handle local flats and shops. Usually, there is a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks because we keep track of everything manually for the most part. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We know the building watchmen and the shop owners nearby, so we usually hear about a place becoming available before anyone else does. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty when the wind blows from the park, but that is just how it is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or walking over to show a kitchen or a balcony to someone. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. We have a couple of plastic chairs for visitors and a ceiling fan that works okay. We focus on this specific part of Mumbai because we live nearby too. It makes sense to work where you know the streets. If you’re walking past Bhurabhai Hall, you can’t miss the building. We try to be here most mornings by ten, though sometimes we’re out at a site.
