Maillis Strong Strap Private Limited is based out of F-35 in the Nand Dham Industrial Estate. This is in the Marol Maroshi Road area of Andheri East. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai. There are always trucks coming in and out of the estate. We focus on strapping materials and packaging supplies. The warehouse floor is usually covered in rolls of strap and various tools. It’s quite noisy because of the machinery nearby. We aren't a big, fancy corporation. We’re just a team working in the industrial heart of the city. The office is tucked into a corner of the unit. It’s often humid and the fans are always running. We don't have time for polished presentations. Most of our customers are local manufacturers who need to secure their goods for shipping. They know us by name and we know their requirements. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things pretty high. The stairs up to the mezzanine are a bit narrow. We’ve been in Andheri for years. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the rain and the traffic, but we stay busy. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the straps are ready when someone needs them. It’s practical work for practical people. We don't have a marketing department or any glossy brochures. We just show the strap, give the price, and load the order. It works for us.
