Mahavir Paints & Hardware Stores

We are located at shop number four in the Sahyog CHS building, right on Sir M V Road in Andheri East. People usually know the Diamond Building nearby or the Lohar Chawl area. Mahavir Paints & Hardware Stores is packed with cans and tools from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two customers come in at once. We sell all the basic stuff like brushes, bolts, and different types of paint. My brother and I run the place and we usually have paint on our hands by the time we close up. The shop has been here for a long time, so we know most of the people who live in the Sahyog society. It is not a supermarket where everything is perfectly lined up. Sometimes you have to wait while we climb a ladder to find a specific size of screw or a certain shade of yellow for a bedroom wall. The traffic outside on M V Road is always loud, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't do any big advertising because people just walk in when their tap is leaking or they want to refresh their house. It is a simple hardware life. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. It is just how we earn our living and we are okay with that.
