We are set up at the Supremo Activity Centre, which is located on the Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road, or JVLR as everyone calls it. We are right next to the Matoshree Club in Jogeshwari. This area is always moving, with cars and trucks passing by on the main road at all hours. Our space in the activity centre is straightforward and serves our needs perfectly. It’s more of a functional hub than a fancy office. We have our equipment and our storage areas all organized so we can get things out the door quickly. The atmosphere around the activity centre is usually quite lively, especially with the club next door. We see people coming and going for sports or events while we are busy with our own tasks. It’s a bit of a dusty area because of all the construction and traffic on the link road, but we keep our space clean. We don’t have a big marketing team or a polished front desk. We just have a team of people who know their jobs and get them done. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we have a good rhythm. We grab lunch from the local spots nearby and sometimes deal with the heavy rains that flood the road a bit. It’s just the reality of being in this part of Mumbai. We focus on our work and don’t worry too much about the rest. It’s a grounded, busy place to be.
