Our place is right on Nagdevi Street, at 271-A. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know how crowded and narrow it gets. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting anything in or out of the shop, but we’ve been here long enough that we’re used to it. We deal with machinery and parts that come through the port or from other suppliers. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes in a space that always feels a bit too small for what we have. Most mornings start with moving things out to the front just so we can walk around inside. We don't really do the whole internet thing much; most people just walk in or give us a ring on the old landline. The walls are lined with stuff we've had for years alongside the newer stock. It smells like oil and old metal in here. Nagdevi is a tough street to work on because of the traffic, but it’s where all the action is for this kind of work. We see all sorts of people coming through looking for specific bits of machinery. Sometimes we have exactly what they need, and other times we have to go looking through the back piles. It’s just us, a few desks, and a whole lot of iron. Nothing fancy about it at all. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we manage.
