M R Dance Academy

M R Dance Academy is over here at Andheri West, specifically around 7 Cross on 3G Main in the Ramaiah Layout area. It's a pretty busy spot but we make it work. Most days it’s just us getting the floors cleaned up before the first group shows up in the afternoon. We have some decent speakers and enough room so people aren't bumping into each other too much. The mirrors get smudged a lot because of the kids, but that’s just how it goes. Some folks come in wanting to learn basic steps for a family wedding while others are more serious about the whole thing. It gets noisy when the music starts thumping through the walls. We keep some extra water bottles in the corner because the fans don't always do the job when it's humid outside. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to find us tucked away in the layout, but once they see the sign, they usually get it. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the neighbors are used to the noise by now. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that, just the studio and a place to leave your shoes at the door. If you’re looking for the place, look for the 3G Main marking and then head towards the 7th cross part of the street. It’s just a regular local place where people come to move around and get some practice in. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just dancing.
