M. Lallubhai & Co.

M. Lallubhai & Co. is located in the Seva Kunj Building on Samual Street. If you know this street, you know it’s packed with history and old buildings. Our place at 174 is no different. It’s got high ceilings and those old-style windows that let in some light. We’ve been working out of here for a long time. The street outside is always full of handcarts and delivery guys. It can get pretty noisy during the day, but we’re used to it by now. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and wooden desks. We deal with a lot of different goods and the inventory is always changing. We keep track of everything in big books and on the computer when the internet is working well. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the boxes stacked up. We don’t really bother with decorating much because we’re too busy with the actual work. Our team is small, mostly family and a few people who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the back room. It’s a simple life. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and they get sent out on time. Samual Street has its own rhythm, and we’re just a part of that. There’s always someone coming in with a question or a delivery note. We just handle it as it comes without any fuss.
