Lilo'S

Our little spot, Lilo'S, is over in Andheri West. We are based in the Wellington Building, specifically B26, which is part of the Shast area. It is a pretty busy neighborhood with lots of families and people walking their dogs. The building itself is one of those standard Mumbai blocks where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We have been here for a bit, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. The light comes in quite nicely in the afternoons, though. We spend most of our time just handling the day-to-day stuff. There is not a team of marketing people behind us or anything. It is just us. The walk from the main road to the Wellington Building can be a bit of a trek if the weather is bad, but it is a good location otherwise. We try to keep things simple. No complicated systems, just a regular way of working. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we would like. It is all part of being in this part of Andheri West. We like the local feel of the Shast neighborhood. It does not feel like the city ever really stops around here. We just fit into the middle of it all and keep doing our thing every day without making a big fuss about it. There is always plenty to do.
