Inder K Dhoot handles LIC stuff here at Kandivali. It's the Hill View Building. People come in for policy work. It's usually quiet in the mornings. I've been doing this for a while. Mostly just paperwork and renewals. Sometimes people have questions about claims or just want to pay their premium in person. The office isn't too big but it works for what we need. It's near the main road. I spend most of my day at the desk. There's a lot of files everywhere. Usually, people call first but some just drop by. Insurance can be confusing so I try to just tell it straight. It's a job that needs a lot of patience. Sometimes the systems are slow and we just have to wait. That's how it goes here. We have a few chairs for people to sit while things get processed. It’s a simple setup in 41590. Most folks from around here know the building. Nothing fancy, just desks and folders. If you need some help with an old policy or a new one, this is where I am. I keep regular hours mostly. It’s busy during the month-end though. We deal with all sorts of policy types day in and day out. It feels like a lot of paper sometimes but that is the job. It gets done eventually even if it takes a bit of time.
