Our agency is located in the C S R Complex over in Manjunath Nagar, which is part of Kandivali East. We are quite close to Atharva College, so we see a lot of students and young people walking by every day. The office is numbered 41471. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but the area is always lively. We’ve been in this complex for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs aren’t the newest, but they do the job. We spend a lot of time on our feet, showing people around or checking on things in the neighborhood. Kandivali East has grown so much recently, with new buildings going up everywhere. We try to keep up with all the changes from our little spot in the complex. It’s a lot of walking and talking. Usually, one of us stays back to mind the office while the others are out. We have a small kettle for making tea, which is pretty much essential. The atmosphere is very casual. People walk in with their kids or their shopping bags. It’s a community-type place. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the local streets and the buildings around Manjunath Nagar. It’s practical work. We handle the papers, talk to the owners, and try to make sense of the local market.
