Krishna Tulsi Caterers

Our place is over at Plot No 422 in the Jai Hind Society. If you know Kandivali West, specifically Sector No 4 in Charkop, you probably know where the Haryana Bhawan is. We are right near there at No D 41. It gets pretty loud in the kitchen during the mornings when we start prepping. There’s a lot of washing, chopping, and moving big containers around. The society is usually quiet except for when the delivery trucks come in. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a bit. Krishna Tulsi Caterers isn’t a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure everything is ready on time. We keep the stoves going and the floors are always being swept. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for all the crates, but we manage to fit it all in. Being in Charkop is convenient because of the markets nearby. We go through a lot of supplies every week. The fans are always running to keep the air moving while we work. It’s hard work, mostly standing on your feet for hours. We don’t have a fancy front office, just the workspace where the actual cooking happens. Most of our neighbors in Jai Hind Society are used to the smells coming from our kitchen by now. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here in this part of Mumbai. There is always a lot of cleaning to do at the end of the shift.
