Our office is tucked away on the sixth floor of the building right behind Apna Bazaar in Andheri West. Kripa Sagar Estate Agency has been operating out of this flat for a while. Being in Andheri means things are always moving fast, and there is always someone looking for a place or trying to sell one. We spend a lot of time on the phone or running around to different buildings in the neighborhood. It’s not a large operation, just us handling the day-to-day property stuff. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but we get used to it. Most of our clients come from word of mouth or people who live nearby. We know these streets pretty well since we are out and about so much. It can get pretty noisy around here with the market close by, but it’s a good spot for work. We deal with all sorts of flats and commercial spaces in this part of Mumbai. There is no shortage of paperwork to sort through every afternoon. We try to keep things simple and honest when we talk to people. Buying or renting a place is a headache for most, so we just try to help navigate the mess of forms and rules.
