Koyla Ethnic Cuisine

You can find us at B-47 on Monginis Lane, just off the New Link Road in Andheri West. It is a busy part of the suburbs, and the lane can get a bit narrow with all the parked cars. We do ethnic cuisine, so the kitchen always smells like a lot of different spices. It is a heavy scent that stays on your clothes. The place has a specific look to it, but it is mostly just practical for serving food. We have some heavy wooden furniture and lanterns that give it a certain feel. The staff works hard to keep the coal fires going because that is how we cook most things. It is hot work and requires a lot of attention. We do not have a big marketing team or anything. It is just us running the place day to day. We deal with the usual stuff like late vegetable deliveries or a sink getting backed up. It is a real business with real problems. Most of our customers come from the nearby apartments or offices. We see a lot of families on the weekends. We do not try to be anything we aren't. We just cook the food the way we were taught and try to make sure everyone gets their plate on time. The New Link Road is always noisy, but once you step inside, it is a bit different. We just keep doing what we do.
