Our business is situated at B-20 in Mantri Market, which is over in the Hadapsar area. The market stays pretty crowded with people coming from all over to find different goods. We have our unit tucked in among all the other shops. It’s a place where we handle a lot of different items coming in and going out. Most of the time, the floor is covered with cardboard boxes and packing tape because we are always preparing something for transport. It’s not a very quiet place because of the constant movement in the corridors of the market. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls or anything like that. It’s just shelves and boxes. We spend most of our hours checking lists and making sure the right labels are on the right packages. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the market, and we just have to wait it out or use flashlights to keep working. We talk to the other shop owners nearby while we have our tea. It’s a community feeling even though everyone is busy with their own trade. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the goods move from one place to another like they are supposed to. The space feels a bit small when a big shipment arrives, but we manage to cram everything in until it's time to move it again. We usually finish up the last of the packing late in the afternoon.
