Kisan Panipuri & Bhelpuri Wala

Our little spot is located on Gamdevi Main Road, specifically at 11/296. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always noise from the traffic. We go by the name Kisan Panipuri & Bhelpuri Wala. Most of the day is spent prep work, like boiling the potatoes and making sure the spicy water is cold enough. If the water isn't cold, nobody really wants it. We stand there on the sidewalk mostly. It’s not a big fancy restaurant or anything like that. Just a counter and some bowls. People come by after work or while they are shopping on Gamdevi Main Road. You see all sorts of people. Some want it very spicy and some can't handle any heat at all. We just do our best to get the balance right. Sometimes we run out of puris early if it’s a Friday. It can be a bit tiring standing on your feet all evening, but talking to the locals makes the time go by faster. We’ve been at this for a bit now. The address 11/296 is easy to find if you are looking for us. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people walking by and smelling the tamarind or seeing others eating. It’s just us, some snacks, and the street life. We like it that way. It’s simple and it works for the neighborhood.
