Our office is on the ground floor of the Ram Darshan building, right on the Juhu Tumkur Main Road. It’s a small space where we keep our files and meet with people looking for a place to stay or do business. We have a couple of desks and some old wooden chairs for visitors. The walls have some maps pinned up that we use to show people different areas. It’s usually just a lot of talking on the phone and checking what's available in the local market. Being on the ground floor means we get people walking in off the street quite often to ask about rents. The road outside is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of engines in the background. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings because it helps when we’re sitting through long meetings. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a practical office where we do our paperwork. Sometimes the files get a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We’ve helped quite a few families find spots around here over the years. It’s mostly about knowing the neighborhood and who is moving in or out. It’s a straightforward job that keeps us on our toes every day. The cupboard in the back is overflowing with old site plans that we really should sort through one of these weekends.
