Khadija Creation

Running Khadija Creation here in Mumbai is a bit of a whirlwind. If you live in Maharashtra, you know how the city never really stops moving. We operate out of a small space where we do all our work. It is not some big factory; it is just a place where we can be creative and get things made. The humidity can be tough on the materials sometimes, so we have to be careful. We spend most of our days surrounded by fabric and thread. There is always a pile of something that needs to be finished. We started this because we liked making things, and it just grew from there. We do not have a big team of people. It is just a few of us who know what we are doing. We don't spend money on fancy signs or big ads. Most of the people who know us found out by word of mouth or just by seeing what we do. Mumbai is a tough place to run a small business, but we manage. We like the energy of the city. Even when it is raining hard and the streets are flooded, we are usually in here working on something new. It is just a normal life for a creator in this city. We do our best with what we have and keep going every day.
