Kbs Designs

Kbs Designs is over in Andheri East, right inside the Seepz area. We are in G-12 of the second Gem and Jewelry Complex. It’s a bit of a process to get in because of the security at the main gate, but that is just how it works here. Inside the complex, it is much quieter than the streets outside. We spend most of our time sitting at our benches working on different designs. It’s detailed work and sometimes my eyes get a bit tired by the end of the day. The building itself is quite functional, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. We have our desks set up with the tools we need for the jewelry pieces. Most of the people around us are doing similar things, so it’s a focused environment. Sometimes we walk down to the little canteen area when we need a break from the fine work. Andheri is always crowded, so the commute can be a bit of a pain some mornings. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the routine of the complex. It is a good spot for this kind of design work because everything is set up for it. We just keep to ourselves and focus on whatever piece is on the desk that day. It isn't a glamorous life, but it is what we know how to do well enough to keep the shop going.
