Kay Kay Trading Co.

You'll find us up on the 4th floor at Plot No. 155 on Narayan Dhuru Street. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes in these older buildings. We’ve been operating Kay Kay Trading Co. from this spot for a while now. The street downstairs is always crowded with people moving boxes and trucks trying to squeeze through. It can get pretty loud during the day, but once you get up to our floor, it’s a lot quieter. We spend most of our time sorting through orders and checking lists. It’s not a large office, but we make the space work for what we need to do. We usually have boxes stacked around because things are always coming in or going out. It’s mostly just us keeping busy and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. Narayan Dhuru Street has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. We know the neighbors and the guys who deliver the tea. It’s a simple way to make a living. We don’t really go for anything flashy here. Just desks, some chairs, and a lot of trade work. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the windows just right and it gets a bit warm. We just open a window and keep going. That’s our day, really. Just keeping the business moving along one step at a time and hoping the lift works when it's time to head home.
