Kasturi Ladies Wear

You will find Kasturi Ladies Wear at Shop 27 in Mangal Kunj, right on S V Road in Borivali West. We are across from the Indraprasth Shopping Centre and near the Gandhibazar area. It is a very lively part of town, especially in the evenings when the Eat Street nearby gets crowded with people. Our shop is full of racks and stacks of clothes. We don't have those fancy mannequins you see in the big malls. We just hang the clothes up so people can see the fabric and the colors for themselves. My sisters and I run the place, and we are usually busy folding things or helping someone find a size that fits. It gets loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any big mission statement or goals. We just sell clothes that people like to wear for everyday life or special events. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when it is busy, but we try to keep it organized as much as possible. We know a lot of the women who shop here because they have been coming to us since we first opened. We talk about family and the neighborhood while they look through the new arrivals. It is just a local shop in a busy market. We open early and stay until the street starts to quiet down.
