Kashyap R Mehta & Associates

Our office is right in the heart of the Fort area, in the Vikas Building. We are on the fourth floor, in Flat 407, which happens to be right above the Jimmyboy Restaurant. If you know the area, you know the smell of good food is always around. Kashyap R Mehta & Associates is a place where we deal with a lot of legal and tax paperwork. The building itself is one of those old Mumbai structures with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. Inside, you’ll see shelves lined with law books and thick files that seem to grow every month. We spend most of our time reviewing documents and meeting with people who need advice on their paperwork. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for the sound of the lift or someone walking down the hallway. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years, so everyone knows their role. Fort is such a historic part of the city, and we like being part of it. Clients often come in looking a bit worried about their taxes or legal issues, and we just sit down and go through things one by one. There’s no big corporate vibe here; just a regular office where we do our best to stay organized. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is so much to read. It’s a steady kind of work that requires a lot of patience.
