Vinayak Art Jewellery

We are located in Charkop at the Shilpa Datta society, specifically Plot No. 729/d-1. Kandivali West is a big place, but Sector 7 is where we’ve set up shop. Vinayak Art Jewellery is basically a small family business. We started it because we liked making things that people actually want to wear every day. It’s not the fancy diamond stuff, mostly art jewelry that’s more affordable. The shop is in a quiet corner compared to the main market area. We spend most of our time figuring out new designs or fixing things that broke. It’s messy work sometimes, with wires and beads everywhere. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the materials. My sister helps with the orders and I do most of the assembly. People from the housing society often stop by just to see what’s new. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just enough so people can find the door. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stock piled up in boxes. We keep meaning to organize it better, but more work always comes in. It’s a decent living and we enjoy being part of the local community here in Charkop. We’ve been in this same spot for several years now and the neighbors are all good people. Sometimes we have tea together in the evenings when the work is finally done for the day. It is a nice way to end the shift.
