Parag Silver

Parag Silver is located on the second floor of the N. K. Building, which is right across from the Mumbadevi Mandir in Zaveri Bazar. This part of Kalbadevi is always packed with people, and the energy is something else. Being on the second floor means it's a little quieter than the street level, but you can still hear the bells from the temple and the shouting of the vendors below. We specialize in silver items. We have everything from small coins to larger decorative pieces and jewelry. It’s a family-run sort of place, and we don’t put on any airs. You walk up the stairs, and we’re right there in unit 245. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep, but people don't seem to mind. We spend our time checking the silver purity and making sure the inventory is correct. Many of our customers are looking for items for religious ceremonies or gifts for friends. We don't try to push people into buying things they don't need. We just show them what we have and tell them the price based on the current market rate. It’s a very traditional way of doing business in a very traditional part of Mumbai. Sometimes we share tea with the other shopkeepers in the building while things are slow. It’s just how life goes here in Zaveri Bazar, and we are happy to be a part of it.
