Riya Art Jewellers

Riya Art Jewellers is located in the Jaihind Building, specifically in A Wing on the 4th floor. We are at office number 2. The building is right near Kabutar Khana in Bhuleshwar, so you can imagine how busy it gets around here. There are pigeons everywhere outside, and the noise from the street never really stops. To get to us, you have to go into the building and head up to the fourth floor. Sometimes the lift is out of order, so we end up walking the stairs, which is quite a workout. Our workspace is small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. We work on art jewellery, which takes a lot of focus and steady hands. From our windows, we can see the tops of other buildings and the chaos of the Bhuleshwar markets below. It’s a very different world once you are inside the office. It’s a bit quieter, though you can still hear the city hum. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know most of the other people in the building. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you. Usually, we are just sitting at our benches with our magnifying glasses. It’s a practical place for people who actually make things. We stay until late in the evening most days to make sure everything is finished properly.
