Kavach Creation

We are located at units 10 and 11 in the Popat Jiva Chawl. It’s right across from the Canara Bank on M.G. Road in Kandivali West. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening outside on the street. We do a lot of garment work here. The space is split between the two units, so we have one for the machines and one for the finished stuff that is ready to go. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of orders to finish by a deadline. We’ve been here for a good while and the landlord is decent. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to get to it. We deal with a lot of local shops who need pieces made up for their own customers. Sometimes individual people come in asking for things they want made. We try to help them out if we can find the time. The noise from the traffic on M.G. Road is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We have a small desk where we keep the books and take calls. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but it’s our own thing. We don't use any fancy software for the business, just some notebooks and pens. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for us.
