You can find us over at Swadeshi Market, specifically in Office No. 66 on the second floor. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s where we do all our work. Being on Kalbadevi Road means it is always busy outside. There are carts and people moving through the lanes at all hours of the day. It gets quite loud, but you get used to the sound of the market after a week or two. Our space is tucked away in the back of the building. It’s not a big showroom, just a regular office where we handle the fashion side of things. We have a lot of samples lying around on the tables. Sometimes it looks a bit cluttered when a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who come up to the second floor looking for specific items. The light in the office is okay, but we mostly rely on the overhead bulbs. It feels like a real working environment, not a polished retail store. Kalbadevi Road is famous for this kind of thing, and we fit right in with the rest of the offices in No. 316. We usually start early before the heat gets too bad. By afternoon, the whole market is buzzing. We just keep our heads down and get the orders sorted. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai. We don’t have fancy brochures. People just find us by word of mouth.
