Kakaji Fast Food

Located right across from Ram Roti Mandir 1 in Malad, this place is basically where we spend most of our day. It’s a small spot, nothing too fancy, but we keep things moving. We started Kakaji Fast Food because we saw people in the neighborhood needed a quick bite while heading to work or just walking by. Mostly, we serve snacks and quick meals that do not cost much. The kitchen is usually busy around lunch and dinner time. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but that’s just how Malad is. We have a few tables inside, though most people just stand and eat or take their bags to go. It’s not the kind of place you would go for a long date, but if you are hungry and in a rush, we are here. We clean up as we go, but since it is an open-front shop, some dust from the street is unavoidable. We try our luck with different recipes now and then, seeing what people like. Usually, it is the classic stuff that sells the most. We do not have a huge staff, just a couple of guys who know how to handle the stove. It has been here for a while now, and the locals seem to know the way. If you find yourself near the Mandir, you will see our sign. Nothing much more to say really, we just keep the fryers going and wait for the next person to walk in.
