Kachchh Bandhani Creation

We run Kachchh Bandhani Creation from Shop No 2 in the Maharashtra Seva Sanstha building. It is located in Mulund West, very close to the Apna Bazar. Most people who live in Mulund use the bazar as a reference point to find us. We have been in this shop for quite a bit of time now. The building is one of those sturdy older ones that you see all over the area. Inside, the shop is usually filled with different fabrics and colors because of the bandhani work we do. It is not a very big space, so things can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot of stock coming in. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that do their best during the summer. Mulund West is a nice place to work, it has its own rhythm that is a bit different from the rest of Mumbai. We see the same faces every day walking past the shop to go to the market. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Our sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still manage to find us. It is just a regular shop where we do our best to stay organized and finish our work on time. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat about the weather or the local news. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day without any corporate pressure.
