We are over at 255 Dimtimkar Road, specifically in the 2-a Gordon Hall Apartment. It’s a bit of a unique spot for a textile business since it is inside a residential style building. This is in a very old and crowded part of Mumbai. The streets are narrow and there is always something going on outside. We use the apartment space for our office and some storage. It’s a bit tight with all the fabric rolls and sample books piled up. We’ve had to get creative with how we use the rooms. One room is full of desks, and another is just for the stock. We don't have a sign on the street, so you have to know where you are going to find us. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which we kind of like. We make tea on a small stove in the kitchen area. The windows look out over the busy street below. Sometimes the noise of the honking cars makes it hard to hear on the phone. We are a small team and we’ve worked together for a long time. We don't do anything fancy with marketing. People usually find us through word of mouth. It is just a simple, local business trying to keep up with the daily orders and shipments. We have our own way of doing things and it works for us.
