K Smita Tanna

My name is K Smita Tanna and I work out of my place in Dahisar. Specifically, I am in D/09 at the Sneh Shivalaya Co-Operative Housing Society in Barve Nagar. It is a quiet residential area, which is nice because it lets me focus on the work without too much noise from the main road. Most people in the society know me, and I’ve been here for quite a while. My setup is quite small, just a room dedicated to my professional needs. I deal with a lot of paperwork and people who come in looking for some guidance or help with their specific issues. Dahisar has a very local feel to it, and I like being part of this community. I usually start my day quite early, getting all my documents in order before the sun gets too hot. There is no big marketing team here, just me handling things as they come. Sometimes I have to go out for meetings, but mostly I am right here at my desk. The society has a lot of trees and it feels very different from the more crowded parts of the city. I prefer this way of working because it feels more personal and less like a machine. People know they can just reach out and I will do what I can to help them out without any big corporate talk or complicated processes. It is just a simple way of making a living.
