Our office is tucked away at C/15/A in Kandivali East, near Narpat Giri Chowk in Somawar Peth. It is a bit of a strange address because people sometimes get confused with the Pune part, but we have been working from here for a while. We handle a lot of paperwork and basic consulting for people in the neighborhood. The desk is always covered in files and folders that need sorting. It is a quiet place mostly, until the phone starts ringing or someone walks in with a complicated problem about their documents. We don't use much fancy software. Mostly just folders, pens, and a decent printer that jams every now and then. We sit here and go through forms, making sure everything is filled out like it should be. People come to us when they are frustrated with how long things take. We can't always make it faster, but we know which window to go to. It’s a lot of talking and explaining the same things over and over. Sometimes the tea gets cold because we are busy talking to a client. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the local rules. It is steady work. We like being in this part of town because we know where to get the best lunch nearby. It’s just a normal office doing normal things every day.
