Jyoti Plastic Works Pvt Ltd. We are located at 94 Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West. This area has a lot of history, being part of the old film studio grounds, but now it is mostly filled with different businesses like ours. We work with plastics, so the smell of melting material is pretty much always in the air. It is a busy compound with lots of small trucks and tempos moving around constantly. Our space is functional and a bit old-fashioned. We have been here in Mumbai for a long time. The walls have seen better days, and the floor is a bit uneven in places, but the machines run just fine. Malad West is a crowded part of the city, and getting here in the morning can be a real struggle with the traffic. Once we are inside the compound, it feels like its own little world. We have our regulars who stop by, and the staff knows exactly how each machine likes to behave. It gets quite humid inside, especially during the monsoon when the rain hits the roof so loud you can't hear yourself think. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big corporate vibe. It is just a plastic works where we focus on getting the orders out on time. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the city.
