Jt Fruits & Vegetables

We have been running Jt Fruits & Vegetables out of Shop No. 31-32 in Building No. 27 for some time now. It is a decent spot in the Emp area, especially being right there near the park that is opposite us. We often tell people we are near the opposite park because it is the biggest landmark around. It is nice to look out and see the trees while we are sorting through the daily arrivals of produce. Most of our mornings start well before the sun comes up. That is when the crates come in and we have to get everything moved from the trucks into the shop. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving boxes around. We spend a good amount of time cleaning off the shelves and making sure the floors are swept. Dealing with fresh stuff means there is always a bit of a mess to manage. People walking in the park often stop by on their way home. We know a lot of them by name since they come in every few days. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We just have our wooden crates and the cooling units for the greens. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to wait around, but usually things run on a set schedule. We handle the potatoes, onions, and whatever fruit is currently in season. It is hard work on the back and the hands get pretty dirty by noon. We just keep the doors open and stay busy until the sun goes down and the park gets quiet.
