Joys Gourmet Kitchen

Bandra West is always crowded, and right by the BMC Pali Market, things are moving even faster. Joys Gourmet Kitchen is tucked away in that busy area where everyone is out shopping for their daily vegetables and fish. It’s a small space, so we have to stay very organized, or we’d just be tripping over each other all day long. The kitchen is the heart of the whole operation, obviously. It’s usually quite loud with the sound of knives chopping and the constant hiss of the pans on the fire. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with bright lights or signs. It’s more of a place where the food has to speak for itself. Bandra is known for being a trendy place, but we try to keep things grounded and simple for our customers. We make what we know how to make well. Sometimes the market outside gets so packed that it’s hard to even get our supplies through the front door, but that’s just part of being in Pali Market. The staff here is like a small family because we spend so much time together in a tight space. We don’t use words like "artisanal" because they sound a bit too much for us. We just cook. Sometimes a dish comes out slightly different because of the ingredients that day, but that’s the reality of a real kitchen. It’s a busy, messy, and happy kind of place for people who like to eat.
